Brows Frame the Face
There are a variety of ways to enhance brows

Debbie specializes in the powder look, also known as the ombre technique, for eyebrows, allowing for a natural or made-up appearance based on her clients preferences. This method creates a soft, shaded effect that enhances the brows fullness and definition. With over 30 years of experience exploring various artistic approaches to brow procedures, she has found that her clients consistently prefer the powder look application.
In contrast to other techniques, which may produce a sparser appearance once healed, the powder brow technique tends to last longer than the hair stroke style. This method provides greater definition and color to the brows.

The powder look can be shaded in lighter or darker tones adding an element of glamour. The front of
the brows can be styled with no color, lightly tinted, or enhanced with hair strokes (microblading) for a
more natural artistic finish.  This brow semi-permanent procedure results in a fuller and more defined brow look, which may require refreshing up in 1 to 3 years.

When picking out the color for brows it is very important to consider the undertone of each client. It is always color plus undertone that equals the healed color result. People have  warm, cool  or natural undertones. It never changes.    Cool people  usually  look better in pinks,  blues, white and black  colors, silver jewelry and do not tan easily.  In general a person that has warm undertones looks better in brown, beige, red brown  and coral colors, gold jewelry and tan each.  Below Debbie has added pages from her permanent makeup manual that shows good examples of who would be a warm or cool undertone.

Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have the opportunity to review the design before the procedure?
Absolutely! This is an essential step that can also be quite enjoyable. She will consider your opinion along with her recommendation for you to consider.  The results should be even  better than you expected. She will draw on your brows, outline your lips and/or eyeliner to enhance your facial features, making sure you are satisfied before moving forward with the treatment. The best part is that this design will stay with you, highlighting your natural beauty without fading like other temporary makeovers.

Do how do you pick colors?
Colors are usually selected by a client requesting a certain color for the particular procedure that is being performed. It can also be helpful to take into consideration my expertise. I can give you my opinion on what color that I think would look best with your skin tone and hair coloring.

Can you have more than one procedure done in a day??
Yes, there is usually no problem having as many procedures as you like done at the same sitting. This can actually be beneficial because you can have any touch ups that you may need done at the same time. Touch ups are usually done within a month after the procedure has been done.

How safe is permanent makeup?
When permanent makeup is done under proper sterile conditions, there is no opportunities for disease transmissions according to the Center for Disease Control. Permanent makeup is very safe.

Will permanent makeup fade?
Yes, permanent makeup does fade over time that is why they call it semi-permanent makeup. Most people will need to have their permanent makeup freshened up at some point, that could be anywhere from one to five years.. The darker colors last longer usually.

Is permanent makeup uncomfortable?
Everyone is different in their tolerance and sensitivity. A topical-numbing solution is used to help numb the area that will be worked on before starting the procedure. Reapplying the numbing topical is usually permitted during the procedure.

What to expect during the healing process for the color?
Initially, the area from your procedure may appear darker, but you can expect lightening of the color by 20% to 50% as it heals. You might notice some color flaking off, which is a normal part of the healing process. Each procedure whether it's for brows, eyeliner, or lip color—goes through different phases. Even after healing, the color may appear somewhat transparent but is likely to return within three weeks add slightly more color.
